CalculatorPi.com is developed, owned and maintained by Troymius LLC, a small company based in Michigan. It started as a what-if project to learn about Linux, HTML, Python, Javascript, web servers and other fun topics.

Since the website launched in 2012, it has gained more popularity than we ever imagined. For example, in 2024 it served over half a million user sessions and processed about 1.2 million calculations.

Per Google's insights, our users span across all ages, while the majority of them appear to be students. They come from almost all the countries and territories around the world.

Since 2012 we have carried all costs associated with running the website. We did consider using ads to generate revenue but... how can we try to sell you computer games, t-shirts or vacation packages while you are focusing on your homeworks and projects? We don't want to disturb your circles. However, if you work for a business that would like to sponsor us, we would consider placing an unobtrusive logo and a link on the website.
